For your listening pleasure; two new tracks leaked from smooth operator Robin Thicke‘s upcoming album, ‘Something Else’ (in stores Sept. 30th) – I was obsessed with his last album, 2007′s ‘The Evolution of Robin Thicke’ – which garnered him the Soul Train award for Best Male R&B/Soul album. Hopefully he can work his magic again.

Robin Thicke – “You’re My Baby” –

Over a bossa-nova infused sound of percussion and the light strumming of a guitar Thicke sings the praises of his ‘baby’ (wife Paula Patton). I’m really feeling this track - although it does have moments where it sounds safely similary to his breakout hit, ‘Lost Without You’ from 2006

Robin Thicke – “Cry No More” –

I like this stripped down acoustic feel – it suits his smooth, soft vocal approach.
