I knew I’d love this song the second I heard Mariah sarcastically asking “Ain’t no donuts? Ain’t no coffee?” when her man walks in the house the morning after being AWOL the night before. It only gets better as Mariah proclaims “I should crack you right in your forehead” and then “Don’t make me go call Maury Povich” – she always gives us the drama with a hint of comedy. You can say whatever you want about Mariah, but don’t you dare say she isn’t a great songwriter. Twoards the end of the song Mariah sings her ass off and you can relate to the anger and pain she feels telling this guy “It’s a Wrap”.
