Last night Alicia Keys and BillboardLive.com held a history-making concert event, Alicia Keys & Friends, at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem.
The concert was a showcase event for a group of extremely diverse and talented new artists to shine, as well as the kick off of Billboard’s new online streaming concert website, BillboardLive.com.
This show was a phenomenal once-in-a-lifetime type of event. The night saw performances from soul stars Marsha Ambrosius (of Floetry fame) and Raheem DeVaughn, as well as newcomers to the scene Elle Varner, Hope, Jermaine Paul (who’s been with Alicia for years now), and rising star Melanie Fiona, not to mention Alicia herself bringing down the house ending the night belting out some of her biggest hits.
